In 2007, Lauren Whitfield left her unfulfilling job in banking to open Exhale Pilates with the goal of blending a relaxing atmosphere with a kick-butt workout. Layering new techniques with the foundations of pilates, she has created the Exhale style as progressive and results-driven. This technique kept her fit and healthy through her pregnancy with her son, Smith, and helped her to bounce back into shape soon after his birth. As a working mother, Lauren understands the importance of a precious hour for exercise, and is dedicated to creating the most effective 55-minute workout possible.
